We're home

While Katina and 1PBEar waited for the flight home we read the wonderful letters from 1P - THANKYOU. We were very impressed with your writing.

 1PBEar met Olaf.

We flew home and arrived on very hot day.

 1PBear hid in his last Christmas tree at Sydney Airport.

Now we have to get over the very long flight and change in time zone. See you all soon.

Last stop Los Angeles

Katina and 1PBear flew from Phoenix to Los Angeles, also called LA.

While we waited we watched the planes on the tarmac.

  We had a seat next to the window.

Katina picked up a car to drive. We drove on the right side of the road. It was a little scary.

 We went to the LA Dodgers baseball stadium.

 Went to a mall that had the TALLEST real Christmas tree in the USA.

1PBear helped Katina drive on the freeway.

Our time in Phoenix

Katina and 1PBear have been out and about in Phoenix with her friend Barbara as well as doing some work together. We visited many places: the zoo lights, the Enchantment Resort in Sedona, Jim and Betty's farm, the Botanical Gardens, the University Club christmas function, Tempe Markets, Wild Horse Pass Resort, the Olive farm and the movies.

Around Nashville

Katina and 1PBear have been very busy in Nashville.

He met Katina's friends Patience and Lori.

1PBear also hung out with Elvis Presley

and Johnny Cash.

We watched the the Nashville Christmas Parade together. There were floats,

 a very big potato and

 balloons, just like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

1PBear met Anna and Elsa.

There were also marching bands.

In the afternoon, we headed to Phoenix.

1PBear had a seat all to himself on the flight to Dallas.

We had some lunch at Dallas airport while we waited for the flight to Phoenix.

1PBear  also had his own seat on the next flight.

In Nashville

Katina presented at the conference with her friend Jacqui.

1PBear again enjoyed the Christmas trees and decorations. Can you find him?

He sat on Santa's arm for a cuddle.

He sat with the reindeer in the hotel foyer.

We had lunch together and visited the Country Walk of Fame.

Around Nasvhille

Katina is sorry she hasn't posted any of our photos since arriving in Nashville. She has been very busy working at the conference. Out hotel is in the city centre.

 We had dinner with Katina's friends, Jon and Jacqui.

We caught the bus and walked to The Hermitage. 1PBear got close to the local environment.

 He sat on the wooden fence that circled a field.

 He hid in the leaves. Can you see him?

 He rode on a very old trolley.

He sat on the fireplace mantle in a very old cottage.

 He sat in a cotton tree and we picked cottonballs off the plant.

This is a log cabin on the plantation we visited and so is the next photo. We had a good day.
