Around San Francisco - we did A LOT!

KP Bear and I arrived in San Francisco late at night but that didn't stop us going for a walk. Can you name the different things made from sourdough that have been used to make the Christmas wreath?

Last days in Tampa

KPBear and I went for a walk and saw some interesting sights.

 I wouldn't go swimming in Tampa Bay with that sign!

The park had some lovely murals made of ceramics.

We also saw squirrels. What behaviour can you see the squirrel demonstrating?

We had a lot of bags to take to the airport. Too much shopping! 

When we got to Tampa airport we travelled to the terminal in ....What do you think we are in?

KPBear and I had a chance to chill out at the airport while we waited to fly to San Francisco. Can you find San Francisco on the map? HINT: It is on the west coast of the USA.

In Tampa Florida

KPBear and I flew to Tampa on Monday. It took all day to get there because as we travelled from east to west we had to move our watches forward 3 hours.

 At LA airport we spent some time working while we waited for the plane to Dallas and then to Tampa. Can you find Los Angeles, California and Dallas, Texas on the map?

In Tampa KP and I had dinner at a 'crab shack' and sat outside looking out on Tampa Bay.

Yesterday we finally got out of the conference Hotel and went for a walk down the street through the Tampa City mall. There was a lot of pants and lovely water features. KP is hiding. Can you find him?

Back at the hotel KP climbed a palm tree.

At dinner KP hid among the Christmas decorations.

Tomorrow is our last day in Tampa and then we fly to San Francisco. Did you find the spelling mistake I made in the post?

Los Angeles transit

KP Bear and I arrived safely in Los Angeles after 13 hour flight. We watched movies and had a sleep on the plane. We left Sydney at 11am and arrived in Los Angeles 6am the same day - weird feeling crossing the international dateline and adjusting to the different time zone.
We went for a walk near the hotel which is near the airport. Can you find KP Bear?

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Los Angeles. KP found good places to hide among the Christmas trees.

Tomorrow we fly to Tampa Florida via Dallas, Texas.

Off to the USA

Final Day in Tainan and flying home

Bear and Katina visited a lovely cafe for a wonderful cup of coffee. Bear thought hiding was a good idea.

Bear enjoyed the visit. What did he do while Dr K had coffee?

At the airport in Taiwan, Bear hid in different places.

And had fun at Hong Kong airport talking to Stitch and reading some books while we waited for the plane to Sydney.

It was a long and tiring trip back home, so Bear took time out on a seat at the airport.

Visiting Taiwan Museum of History

Our friends at the university took us to visit the History Museum to learn more about Tainan and Taiwan. The figures in the museum all have different faces as they used models and information from the past to make them. Bear got close to them. Can you find him in these photos?

More experiences of Tainan

Bear and I taught How to teach English classes at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Techology. Bear found some places to rest on our the campus. Can you find him?

After class we had lunch packed in boxes, water and coffee. Bear is hiding on the table near one of the participants of the course, Xavier.
