A day in Helsinki

While we waited to get into our accommodation, we went for a walking tour and a boat ride around the canals.

We saw a lot of interesting buildings and learnt about Helsinki.

When we were on the boat we saw little houses near the water. These are saunas. People get hot and sweaty inside and then jump in the water. Crazy!

I thought of Paul and the fishing trip but the water was very calm.

There are beaches in Helsinki even though the water is quite cold.
