Midsummer Solstice

Sunday 23 June was Midsummer Solstice and is a 2 day celebration. It is the longest day of the year and the night is only 4 hours long.

People wear crowns of flowers (women) or leaves (men).
Here is a very large crown. Where is Ted?
Tony/ Pop and I made a flower crown for me to wear.

Music and dancing at 4 stages. Ted is on stage, can you see him?

Large bonfires are made and lit at sunset, which was close to 10.30pm.
