A day in Dubai - Tuesday

 

This morning we went on an Al Fahidi historic area tour and learnt more about the history of Dubai and Arabic Culture and Emirati life vs expats life. Very different.

Old style air conditioning - tower catches the breeze from any direction and channels it down into the hous.

A stop for a bite to eat - chicken shwarma roll, and a drink of coconut juice before going to textile souk.

On the abra crossing Dubai creek to Spice Souk and Gold Souk.

After afternoon tea we headed for a walk around Wafi Mall, right next door to the hotel.

Tonight's canapes and drinks - yum. No need to have dinner.
