We settled into our room at the Sofitel Dubai Obelisk after our flight and checked in on Level 51 at the Club Millesemme. The hotel has an Egyptian theme.

light in foyerWhile we waited for our bags to be taken to our room (#2419) we sat and had afternoon tea in the Club.
After unpacking and resting we went back to the Club on Level 51 for canapes and drinks. We watched the sunset but the air was very hazy.
Then we headed to bed for a much needed sleep.
