Started our journey to London at the Emirates Lounge. YUM!
Lovely food, relaxing and a couple of glasses of Moet.
Only a 6 hour flight from Dubai to London. Then a taxi to the Leonardo hotel because the wait for the hotel bus would have been 30 minutes. Only cost a few pounds more than the hotel bus!
After a well earned sleep and jet lag we took the advice of the hotel staff we caught the local U3 bus to the airport to catch the Heathrow Express to London, Paddington. This time I caught the correct train! At Paddington Station we ran into ...
There was a fantastic Gillies and Marc statue nearby and I posted a card to Lily and Jasper.
After a couple of hours we boarded the train to Newport, Wales, then to Abergavenny. The train to Abergavenny only had TWO carriages so it was very very packed with people. Luckily it was only 3 stops.
