We went on a sightseeing tour from Riga to Tallinn and saw castles, very old buildings, a forest and churches.
First we visited a bobsled track where they were training and having short course races.
We sat in a gold medal bobsled and pretended we were driving it.
We visited a castle and museum in Cesis and walked around the old town.
Bear wanted to look out the window so I made sure he had a seatbelt on.
In the forest we went for a walk and picked blueberries (YUM!).
We drank water from a spring coming from the sandstone wall.
The sandstone is very soft not like our sandstone. Bees used to live in the tiny holes. Too many tourists now so they live somewhere else.
In Vilnja we saw another castle in ruins.
We stopped for lunch at a brewery.
Ted enjoyed a hot spiced beer.
At the castle we swung on a BIG swing. Some people LOVED it (me) and others got a bit scared when it went high and fast (Pop/ Tony).
We saw some interesting things. What are these?
and stood in the Baltic Way monument.
