Vilnius #3

Monday we spent the day walking around Vilnius and seeing the sights. We had a coffee first and watched people.

We went to Vilnius University. It was very interesting.

 This room has book shelves and frescoes on the ceiling. It is called Littura. It was closed for renovations.

The uni has its own church.

 As you walk up the stairs in here are pictures and the uni souvenir shop. Lovely!

It has a bell tower which we visited.

The stairs to the very top were steep. But the view was worth it. A bit scary for me! Bear was fine.

We also saw the Castle tower. I climbed it while Tony/Pop looked after Bear.

Bear enjoyed meeting the locals.
